The historic predecessor of this watch, whose name it shares, benefited from an excellent opportunity to demonstrate its strengths: in 1969, four scientists wore this model as part of a research project carried out for two months in the Tektite I underwater laboratory. These iconic watches combine vintage and elegant style with today’s demanding technical standards. This timepiece is part of the Heritage collection which offers new interpretations of historic models from the Bienne brand. It was the top-of-the-line diver back in the late 60s with water resistance up to 500m. The grandfather of this model was the Certina DS-2 Super PH500M.
